The idea was to paint the jaguar almost entirely with the hands as a way to bring people together in a playful and spontaneous way. The end result is a sitting jaguar with a textured pink background, dark purple spots people in New York helped add during a live painting session at Times Square, and a fierce look that looks straight ahead with strength, determination, and courage.
Gabriela 's Bio': Gabriela Gil nasceu em 1989 em Tegucigalpa, Honduras e cresceu na América do Sul e do Norte antes de estabelecer seu estúdio em Nova York em 2019. A migração constante fomentou uma perspectiva multicultural e alimentou seu interesse pela arte como forma de transcrever sua experiência pessoal usando linguagem visual. Gil está particularmente interessada em criar peças multicamadas que usam formas orgânicas, ritmo e cores vibrantes que reproduzem a natureza e prestam homenagem à sua herança latino-americana.
